SOUTHEASTERN FIGHT LEAGUE’S

HOOTERS FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS

 for SPRING BREAK! 

Everyone have a fun and safe spring break 2010!

Friday night we were entertained by Ronnie "The Hat" Robinson.  He really put on a show! Ronnie “The Hat” Robinson,  is "The Legends" front man and lead vocalist. He has performed with such acts as Percy Sledge, Clarence Carter, The Temptations, The Drifters, and many other well know performers.Every Friday night the pre-show entertainment at the Southeastern Fight Center is top notch!

Ronnie "The Hat" was not the only entertainment for the night there was also an exhibition with Alvis Solis, who owns Solis Martial Arts Academy from Houston, TX that was here for the weekend for a BJJ training seminar at Wolfpack MMA.  Referee Toby Eicher trained with Solis in Texas. Solis motto is "Eat. Sleep. Jiu-Jitsu!

Alvis plans on competeing in 50 tournaments before he's 50.  He's one tournament  down;   March 6th he competed at Houston International Open. His next competition is the Pan Jiu-Jitsu tournament in Irvine, California the weekend of April 10th and 11th.   The following week at the Texas International Grappling Festival on April 17th, during that Super Fight he will be against BJJ Black Belt, Renan Chavez.

Winner: Tarvis Canty by Guillotine choke 1:27 in the 1st round

Winner: James Watkins 1:35 in the 2nd round
